Aroma Quality (AQ) Profile - Extracts
This Hop Testing Package includes:
Alpha & Beta Acids, cohumulone, colupulone by HPLC.
Hop Storage Index - HSI
A portion of the hop extract is analyzed by GC (Gas Chromatography). This will provide results for the relative % of the volatile oils: beta-pinene, myrcene, linalool, caryophyllene, farnesene, humulene, and geraniol, used to help identify varieties, batch adjustment, fingerprinting, or process preservation of aroma hops. In addition, a special standard is used, and results are also expressed as mg/g.
Includes: Hops-17, Hops-14, Hops-12.
Sample size needed: Extracts (2 grams).
