Hop Storage Index - HSI
A portion of the hop extract is analyzed by GC (Gas Chromatography). This will provide results for the relative % of the volatile oils: beta-pinene, myrcene, linalool, caryophyllene, farnesene, humulene, and geraniol, used to help identify varieties, batch adjustment, fingerprinting, or process preservation of aroma hops. In addition, a special standard is used, and results are also expressed as mg/g. As well as, Total Oil ml/100g.
Plus 25 additional oil compounds - with terpene breakdown.
